Last night was our weekly poker match over at Kenny’s (damn cat) and we had usual seven guys plus Bob brought his boss along. I started off pretty slow but then it seemed like I couldn’t lose a hand. I was finally getting some good cards to play and I didnt have to bluff my way through anything. So I ended up winning the $60/$20 pot, which hasn’t happened in about 8 or 9 weeks. So I guess at $10 a week, I’m still in the red. I guess I’ll have to repeat next week.
Also, I got an email from LiveNation yesterday (they keep me informed on all the concerts going on around the area) that the Strokes had booked a show at the Pageant on April 7th. Tickets go on sale today at 5 and i will be heading there after to pick up some tics. I’m excited to see Eagles of Death Metal, the opening act. I saw them on Craig Ferguson one night and they seemed pretty cool. I’m also suppose to be going to see Bela Fleck and the Flecktones featuring Wooten the week prior to the Strokes, also at the Pageant. But I haven’t made up my mind on this show yet.

Congrats! And thanks for picking up Strokes tickets for us. Make sure you pay in cash so they don’t charge that stupid fee.

Yeah, Bob informed me about the cash policy last night. I never knew that, wish I had for the past 15 or so concerts I’ve been too there!

Um… I don’t know if you made it this way, but I can’t read the entries when I click the title. I only get the comments. I have to click on the categories it I want to read it.
