NO SHOES ON THE CARPET!

Thats right, I decided to get a second job again.  But its not that bad.  It will be very limited hours, maybe 10 a week.  I took up a job at the Pavillion.  I figured this way, it gets me closer to music and we all know how much I love live music.  I’m not doing it for the money, thats also minimal.  I’m doing it for the music.  ROCK!!  My good friend Jen (Powers not Burns) hooked me up with the job.

Its time to say goodbye to a dear friend of mine, Flash. Flash is almost 5 years and has been with me since 2001. Flash, by the way, was given it’s name by Jenn. I’ll let you figure out where the name came from . Anyways, Flash is a 2001 Ford Focus ZX2 (S2 version) and is still in great shape but has an owner who likes new toys. Flash has not been in any accidents and has been recently given new tires and brakes. If you would like to own Flash, please visit one of the links below.

I hope everybody enjoyed their St Patricks Day as much as I did.  I had the day off from work so the drinking began at 9:00AM with Guinness and eggs at Growlers and ended at 1:00AM at Andrews, with various things thown in between.  16 hours of drinking.  It felt like college all over again.  I’ve put up some pictures from SPD in the newly redesigned gallery section.  Granted, they are just a few I snapped off with the cell phone.  I’ll have to bug Amanda for the rest.

Damn it. I guess if you can’t beat Canada or Mexico, then you don’t deserve to win. Peace out USA. Goodbye Clemens.

 

May 16 @ The Pageant:  James Blunt w/ Toby Lightman

I would love to see this show since I have recently become a big fan of James Blunt.  There’s just something about sad-bastard music that really appeals to me.  Maybe I’m too a sad-bastard.  Who knows.  Anyways, if anybody wants to go, let me know.  Tickets go on sale March 16 @ 11am.

Andrew says this band is cool but I haven’t heard too much of their stuff.  Tickets are only $8 though.  Of course, it is on Cinco de Mayo.  Who was the genious who planned that.

March 31 @ The Pageant:  The Loop Undergroud featuring The Cause

I went to the last Loop Underground show and was really impressed by one or two of the bands that played.  The other were total shit and should stop making music all together.  I don’t ever remember their names.  However, the Cause is a great young band with a lot of potential.  I think some of these kids are fresh out of high school but definately know how to rock!  Tickets are $5 at the door.
