NO SHOES ON THE CARPET!

This was a great episode.  Not only did my No.1 Pick and Dale kick ass with Tofu, but Jenn ”I’m winning it all for Zoi” got the boot.  Plus, this episode allowed the chefs to be creative which I think really can show off a chef’s true skills.  It reminds of last seasons breakfast episode where Hung created a portrait from cereal.  I didn’t like Hung but that was pretty cool.  No now I’m rooting for Lisa to go home because she is way too negative.  After working in a kitchen for 4 years, I can easily say that when you have a negative cook on you line, nothing runs smoothly.  Plus, she is really annoying and has weak skills.

After last week’s Tailgating episode, I thought I was going to lose Mark but somehow he held on.  Also, Jenn’s “i’m going to cook my ass of to avenge Zoi’s dismissal” is getting really annoying.  Get over it.

So after the 1st episode of seaon 4 Top Chef, I made 3 picks for who could win the season.  My favored to win is Richard, runners up being Mark and Stephanie.  So far, all 3 are still playing.  To argue against people saying that I picked the winners from episode 1, Mark had one of the worst dishes.  But I liked his style and experience and can easily see him working is way to the end.  However, after episode one, it was pretty clear that Richard possessed a love for cooking and techniques that most others on the show don’t.  During last night’s episode, it is discussed by a few other chefs that Richard and Dale have skills far ahead of the others.  Dale is good, if I could have a fourth pick, it would be him.  Stephanie is definately the best of the ladies though.

Wow, that was a pretty random paragraph.
