I wish every politician was a straight-talker like Mayor Micheal Nutter of Philly. In regards to Phillies fans’ scattered vandalism after they beat the Rays on Wednesday,

You can be joyous; you cannot be a jackass. That kind of idiotic, destructive behavior will not be accepted in the city of Philadelphia.

Personally, I think Philly fans are jackasses anyways. Let us not forget the battery incident, How’s Your Son?, Egging the Redskins Bus, booing Palin (which I’m ok with), and of course when they booed santa.

5 shows that will sell out

The one thing that I look forward to more than the holidays, El Monstero Y Los Masked Avengers.  El Monstero will again be performing at the pageant this year covering Pink Floyd’s The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon.  For the past 7 or 8 years, El Monstero has melted many a fans’ faces with their incredible cover show of Floyd.  I have attended the past three years and begin counting down the days until the next show immediately after the curtain closes.  So this year, two shows.  Two shows of the exact same material.  The exact same performance.  I. Am. Stoked.  So get your tickets because these shows will sell out as they always do.  All five shows.

Another redesign brings you Eye, a sculpture located at Laumeier Sculpture park here in St. Louis.  Eye arrived at the park about a year ago and is one of my favorites there.   I was trying to find a good background image and came across this awesome photo in the Sherron’s collection and decided it was a perfect fit with the new layout.  Hope you enjoy it as much as me.

Well, it looks like brandonduke.com is back up and running. After the last upgrade, shit hit the fan and i lost some much needed features. Thats all been fixed. And I’ve even added some new things, like the flickr Gallery page and the Category cloud. Eventually, I’ll get all of my pics over to flickr. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get back on track with posting. Maybe.
