For the third time in less than a year, I am without phone. The 8120 met its end by diving head first into a cup of ice water. It may have been my fault as I was trying to take a quick turn without getting killed. After about 20 minutes, I noticed it was swimming but it was too late. I pulled it out in time to see the screen short out. I was hopeful that after drying out, it may live again, but such is not the case.
Its a good thing I got the added insurance, which still requires me to pay a deductible (bullshit). So for the next 24 hours, I will be sans phone. If you need to reach me, you can’t. Its like being cut off from the rest of the world.

I considered it but I didn’t want to shell out that kind of cash. It would have cost me $200 to break contract with T-mo and another $235 for the Storm + activation. So for now, I paid my deductible and will stick with the Pearl and hopefully, it does not meet an untimely end.

What are you going to do if you can’t text for 24 hours? You’ll go crazy!
